The lightbulb moment came when my co-founders, our engineering team, and I were invited to collaborate with the IDF on a national cloud-defense initiative. In that fast, high-stakes environment, the old reactive playbook felt like horses on a highway. One truth became undeniable: security must match the cloud’s speed, scale, and complexity. We could not afford to take risks and react later; prevention had to be built in. That realization sparked Blast, and many of the engineers and security professionals who stood with us then rejoined, bringing vast experience from leading cybersecurity companies and a shared purpose.
