Build the future of preemptive cloud defense.

We’re a category-defining company replacing reactive cloud security with continuous prevention, and we’re building the team to take that vision global.

Our Mission

The end of reactive cloud security.

Blast creates a living, preemptive defense fabric that continuously evolves with the enterprise cloud environment, eliminating alert fatigue, reducing operational friction, and shrinking the blast radius. For CISOs it delivers preemptive risk reduction and continuous control. For cloud and platform architects, safe and scalable orchestration of native controls. For SecOps teams, fewer alerts, blocked lateral movement, and less repetitive remediation, so they can focus on real threats and keep environments secure by design.

  • Sales Process and Operating Rhythm: Establish a pragmatic sales operating system with strong CRM hygiene, clear stages, forecasting discipline, and lightweight standards for qualification, deal strategy, and executive alignment.
  • Sales Enablement and Core Assets: Build and continuously refine core sales assets, talk tracks, and pitch structures, tailoring messaging to CISOs, cloud security, and platform leaders based on customer insight and product learning.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner tightly with product and marketing to align messaging and packaging, feeding commercial insights back into the organization to accelerate closes and expansion.
  • Ecosystem and Presence: Develop strategic relationships across the cloud and security ecosystem and represent the company confidently in executive-level conversations and key industry forums.

  • Strong pipeline management skills and comfort operating with high autonomy.
  • Deep understanding of technical audiences, including CISOs, DevSecOps, Cloud Security Architects, and Platform Engineers.
Builder Mindset
  • Experience operating in early-stage or high-growth environments where structure is created as you go.
  • Ability to move fast without overbuilding, focused on repeatability, clarity, and outcomes.
  • Comfort with ambiguity, iteration, and learning directly from the market.
Cloud and Security Fluency
  • Strong understanding of cloud security buyer dynamics and enterprise constraints.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into business and risk outcomes that resonate with leadership.

  • High ownership, high standards, and consistent follow-through.
  • Comfortable operating at both strategic and tactical levels.
Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with structured qualification frameworks such as MEDDIC or BANT.
  • Network in cloud security communities such as events, roundtables, and practitioner groups.

Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer
Blast Security × Professional Services & Core Infrastructure
Experience: 3+ Years Hybrid / Customer-Facing (Central District, Israel) Full-Time R&D / Professional Services

About Blast Security

Blast Security marks the end of reactive cloud security, replacing after-the-fact response with continuous prevention. Instead of reacting to threats and chasing alerts, Blast creates a living, preemptive defense fabric that continuously evolves with the enterprise cloud environment, eliminating alert fatigue, reducing operational friction, and shrinking the blast radius.

We are expanding our core technical team and looking for a senior, hands-on DevOps / Platform Engineer with a strong client-facing orientation. This unique role bridges robust core infrastructure engineering with high-impact Professional Services (PS), working directly with engineering leadership and strategic enterprise accounts.

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer who goes beyond internal task execution. In this role, you will split your focus between core infrastructure development and direct, customer-facing Professional Services engagements across multi-cloud environments, modern container platforms, and advanced AI-driven architectures.

As a technical authority, you’ll lead high-impact customer engagements – deploying and customizing DevOps and cloud security solutions directly within client environments – while owning the design, management, and scaling of our multi-account, multi-production cloud organization across AWS, GCP, and Azure, including services such as Transit Gateway, API Gateway, CloudFront, EKS, Lambda, MSK, and Bedrock.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or similar roles within SaaS production environments.
  • Cloud: Strong hands-on production experience with AWS, including services such as Transit Gateway, API Gateway, CloudFront, EKS, Lambda, MSK, and Bedrock; experience with GCP and/or Azure is a plus.
  • GitOps: Experience with GitOps platforms, specifically ArgoCD.
  • Kubernetes: Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS) in production environments (mandatory).
  • CI/CD: Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions; Argo Workflows is an advantage.
  • Programming: Programming experience in Python, Go, or similar languages.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Hands-on expertise with Terraform / OpenTofu (preferred).
  • Linux: Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
  • Monitoring & Observability: Experience with monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and tracing tools, such as Grafana.
  • Software Development Understanding: Strong understanding of software development processes and developer workflows.
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to independently lead projects and drive initiatives from concept to execution.

Preferred Qualifications

  • FinOps Depth: Deep experience with FinOps / cloud cost management – managing spot instances at scale and driving cost governance across a multi-account cloud organization.
  • Multi-Cloud Breadth: Production experience spanning more than one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Database Operations: Experience operating MongoDB, ClickHouse, or DynamoDB at scale in production.
